Lucy & Scruffy ( and brothers and sisters )

Our beautiful girls. Lucy, the black, sultry looking one on the left, was rescued from a fire as a puppy and presented to us as a gift that was impossible to refuse. A very large Rottweiler turned her head and very soon we had nine little bundles of joy that came in an alarming number of colour combinations. We gave them all away apart from the runt of the litter, Scruffy. She was big, clumsy, soft and affectionate and loved yogurt! In fact she would eat almost anything and invariably did. The happiness, companionship and joy that a dog brings can only be really appreciated by those who have been lucky enough to have had one. Unfortunately, the sadness and sorrow that is felt when they are gone is also difficult to appreciate and coming to terms with the loss can be overwhelming. Remember them fondly and never forget them.
